This popular annual juried art show, which is sponsored by the Waimea Arts Council, is open to current and new members of the Waimea Arts Council. Membership is open to all adults 18 and older. Exhibition dates for this show are October 1 – Nov. 28, 2021.
This year’s invited judges are Johanna Wiseman and Shirley Spencer, local artists and the proprietors of Akamai Art Supply in Kona, who hold a finger on the Big Island’s art scene.
All art and fine craft will be accepted in this show. You may enter three pieces. Cash awards will be determined by the number of entries. The non-refundable entry fee is $15 per entry. Due to space limitations at the Firehouse Gallery the maximum size for any entry is 36×36”. Artwork must be submitted at the Firehouse Gallery, 67-1201 Mamalahoa Hwy., Kamuela, HI between the hours of 11 am to 3 pm on Friday and Saturday, September 24 & 25, 2021.
