Water: Oceans, Rivers, Waterfalls and Snow

December 7 – 30, 2016

The Waimea Arts Council has invited all their member artists to participate in an exhibit  of “Water: Oceans, Rivers, Waterfalls and Snow,” from December 7  to 30.  The show will take place in the front area of the Firehouse Gallery, located in Waimea, and consists entirely of work from artists living on Hawaii Island.

Water surrounds us in many forms: the rain that keeps our island green, the oceans that provide food and recreation, the beauty of waterfalls and rainbows and even the snow on the mountain.   Come see how our artists depict these elements in all mediums – paintings in oil, watercolor, acrylic  or mixed media, as well as drawings and sculpture.

We are also featuring jewelry in many forms and styles created by a number of our talented artists.
